Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which made my stay enjoyable. However, the construction outside was quite disruptive, affecting the ambiance. While the service from the staff was mostly friendly and engaging, there were some inconsistencies. Dining was a bit disappointing as well, particularly in terms of variety and temperature of the food. On the plus side, the hotel has great potential thanks to its upcoming renovations and a friendly staff.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were very clean and spacious, although I did find some dust and hairs on the bed, which was less than ideal. The bathroom had a cracked tile, and there was only one wine glass provided. Still, I appreciated the room's overall comfort.
Service
8.0
The service was friendly and engaging. The staff was welcoming and eager to help, which made for an enjoyable experience, although there were moments of brusqueness from a few team members.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is a bit hindered by surrounding construction, which made access tricky at times. However, it's still ideal for exploring the city due to its proximity to the center.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown, with the buffet not being replenished frequently and the food served not warm enough. It felt overpriced for what was offered.
Facilities

I enjoyed the facilities, especially the spa that provided wonderful massages. It felt luxurious and comforting.

However, the overall experience was slightly marred by noise disturbances from other guests and some construction work happening nearby.

7.4/10
My stay started off on a shaky note with a mix-up in our room, but the comfortable accommodations and attentiveness of the staff helped redeem the experience. The noise from events happening in the hotel significantly disrupted our enjoyment, especially during the night. Overall, while the hotel has some charm and helpful service, the nighttime disturbances were a downside.
Rooms
7.0
The room we eventually settled into was spacious and comfortable, but we initially had a suitcase left in it upon our arrival, which was surprising.
Service
8.0
The staff were responsive and moved us to another room after we complained about the noise, showing they did care about our comfort.
Location
9.0
The hotel is situated close to various attractions and we found it convenient for our outings.
Dining

Our experience with afternoon tea was pleasant but not as special as I hoped for, particularly due to the repetitive inquiries about vouchers.

The hotel had decent facilities, though construction noises from adjacent work were occasionally distracting.

7.8/10
The Lowry hotel has some great features, such as spacious rooms and a lovely dining experience, but the recent renovations have left the atmosphere feeling less upscale. While the food, especially breakfast, was fantastic, the lounge area now resembles a budget bar, which detracts from the overall experience.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although they felt a bit tired in places.
Service
8.0
Service was attentive, especially during lunch and evening, though we felt a bit rushed during our dining experience.
Location

The location is perfect, allowing for easy access to the city and restaurants just over the bridge.
Dining

The dining experience was generally lovely, particularly the afternoon tea, but the scones were a bit dry.
Facilities

I had a fantastic stay with stunning views and a beautifully refurbished suite that was very stylish. The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was a highlight with a wide range of delicious options, although there were some minor issues with the dining area setup and room amenities that could be improved. Overall, great value for money, but a few adjustments would elevate the experience further.
