the fish and chips i ordered were a big disappointment, they seemed like a child's portion. the fish was soggy and the chips were limp and barely warm. i complained, but the head waiter claimed to have witnessed the dish's expert preparation. the breakfast buffet was not hot, it was tepid. i ordered fried eggs, they arrived barely cooked and floating in oil.

I had expected a better experience considering the price. Our room was supposedly a "Superior King Double or Twin Room River View", but the river view was largely obstructed. The shower was also faulty and leaked constantly. I found the lack of attention to detail disappointing for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

the room was spacious and clean i loved it. the bed was like a cloud it was so comfortable. the minibar had various drinks and snacks all well-stocked. i especially liked the complimentary toiletries they were great.
